About Us

The MPCC Athletics Division takes great pride in providing quality athletic programs for the entire community.  The philosophy of the Athletics Division is to provide the participants an opportunity to become involved in a group and / or individual activities for social interaction, physical conditioning, and psychological development. Our athletic programs are designed to emphasize the importance of having fun in a competitive atmosphere.


The following policies and procedures provide the operating principles for the City of Manassas Park Department of Parks and Recreation.   Contact Parks & Recreation with questions about policy content or how a policy applies to you specifically.


Registration is on a “first come, first serve basis.” You will only be notified if the class/program is cancelled. Late registrations are accepted, if space is available with no reduction in fee.

Forms & Fees

Each class/program must be accompanied by the registration form and payment. The forms and fees should be dropped off/or mailed to: Manassas Park Community Center, 99 Adams Street, Manassas Park, VA 20111. Checks are to be made payable to “City of Manassas Park.” There is a $35.00 returned check fee for any check returned by the bank.


The Department of Parks & Recreation reserves the right to cancel any class/program which does not meet the minimum enrollment. All programs with insufficient enrollment will be cancelled 5 days prior to the program start date. PLEASE REGISTER EARLY!

Non-City Residents

Most of the fee based classes/programs are available to non-city residents at an additional fee. Please see the individual class/program for additional information.

Inclement Weather

In the event of inclement weather the Department of Parks & Recreation will follow the Local Government cancellation schedule. If classes/programs are cancelled, every attempt will be made to re-schedule the class/program.
